Storyline

Manoj's (Vikrant Massey) life is the focal point of this movie. Despite failing the 12th standard on his first attempt, a local boy from a low-income family persevered on his path to becoming an IPS (Indian Police Service) officer.

Based on Anurag Pathak's novel Twelfth Fail, director Vidhu Vinod Chopra announced the movie in November 2022. The true story of IPS Officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS Officer Shraddha Joshi served as the basis for the movie.

The majority of the movie was filmed in Mumbai, Delhi, Mussoorie, Agra, and Chambal. Rajendra Nagar and Mukherjee Nagar, two centers for government job applicants' education, served as the backdrop for a sizable section of the movie. The last day of filming was December 2022.
